Multi-Method and Multi-Agent Planning

چکیده

omputers and communications networks transport data from multiple locations to multiple locations. Network configurations address Quality-of-Service issues (e.g., component reliability, equipment costs, data buffer sizes, bandwidth limitations, and routing protocols). Planning for and implementing network equipment, software, and security mechanisms costs hundreds of millions of dollars per year. The rapid growth in number of users and equipment choices multiplies the network configuration complexity. This article describes our Air Force-sponsored system to accelerate network configuration by an order-of-magnitude using multi-agent planning techniques and thereby dramatically reducing network configuration costs. We examine how the system cohesively integrates planning, simulation and data/knowledge entry.

Adaptive Neural Network Method for Consensus Tracking of High-Order Mimo Nonlinear Multi-Agent Systems

This paper is concerned with the consensus tracking problem of high order MIMO nonlinear multi-agent systems. The agents must follow a leader node in presence of unknown dynamics and uncertain external disturbances. The communication network topology of agents is assumed to be a fixed undirected graph. A distributed adaptive control method is proposed to solve the consensus problem utilizing re...

Automatic Generation of a Multi Agent System for Crisis Management by a Model Driven Approach

Considering the increasing occurrences of unexpected events and the need for pre-crisis planning in order to reduce risks and losses, modeling instant response environments is needed more than ever. Modeling may lead to more careful planning for crisis-response operations, such as team formation, task assignment, and doing the task by teams. A common challenge in this way is that the model shou...

Approaches to Multi-Agent Planning

Multi-agent planning (MAP) is a major issue in the field of distributed AI. In the multi-agent environment, each agent must consider the constraints from other agents’ actions, when planning. It’s more complicated procedure than single agent planning. The research on Multi-agent planning attracts a lot of attention of researchers from different fields, including sociology, cognitive science, ec...

A Method to Integrate Planning and Coordination

Multi-agent planning involves finding a plan for each agent in a group where the goals, the actions and the initial resources are distributed over these autonomous agents. An algorithm is given for multi-agent planning that constructs coordinated agent plans distributedly. Instead of designing a planning algorithm and a coordination method separately, this algorithm integrates planning and coor...

Improving Agent Performance for Multi-Resource Negotiation Using Learning Automata and Case-Based Reasoning

In electronic commerce markets, agents often should acquire multiple resources to fulfil a high-level task. In order to attain such resources they need to compete with each other. In multi-agent environments, in which competition is involved, negotiation would be an interaction between agents in order to reach an agreement on resource allocation and to be coordinated with each other. In recent ...

Multi-agent Coordinated Motion Planning for Monitoring and Controlling the Observed Space in a Security Zone

Monitoring and control of observed space in a security zone equipped with multi cameras and security robots are essential for efficient invader detection. For controlling the observed space, a coordinated motion planning technique is essential when a centralized motion planning solution is realized by a single supervisory system. This technique, however, is known to be very difficult to realize...
